Quick Halloween Projects

My family love Halloween and we always go to town with our decorations and costumes. We try to make something new every year and it's fun to get the Halloween stuff down from the loft, just like the Christmas box. It's also good to know that our decorations stand the test of time and don't end up in landfill somewhere.

We've come up with 2 very simple ideas to make some decorations. Both would be great to do with kids and are super quick to make. 

Hoopy Spider's Web (shown above)

You will need:

• 6" embroidery hoop
• Black embroidery thread (DMC310)
• 2 x 2cm black felt balls
• 1 x black pipe cleaner
• 2 x 1.5cm wooden beads
• Silver glitter felt
• Tapestry needle
• 2m black and white baker's twine
• Glue

Felt Star Garland

You will need:

• Wool felt stars (1 for every 12cm of garland you want to make)
• 1cm wooden beads (1 for every 12 cm of garland you want to make)
• Knotting cord
• Tapstry needle
